We received a new update showing Bella has grown so much. She is adorable!

Height: 94 cm

Weight: 14 kg

Head: 46 cm

Chest: 52 cm

We received a video of Bella taken apparently on the day of the pictures in the referral. In the video her foster parents are trying to get her to sing and dance. It is 2 minutes 16 seconds long. She smiles the whole time and seems a bit shy. She finally dances in the last 15 seconds but just a little. It was very difficult to get it to play or I would try to share it.

She seems so sweet. We watched her in the video multiple times. Her legs seem strong, which is important for orphans. She certainly appears to be in a good home and receiving much love. That gives us a lot of peace.

Dale and I had individual interviews with our assigned social worker at Lifeline today. She had lots of questions about our childhood, our marriage relationship, how we handle conflict and resolve issues, how we feel about adoption, etc. I thought it was interesting, even invigorating to answer such in depth questions. Dale, however, was completely spent after his interview. He said it was a lot of talking for him. Haha!
