Packing, packing, packing. I loathe to pack but it must be done. There are so many unknowns about this trip. In many ways we may as well be packing for a trip to the moon. We simply have no idea what to expect. One thing is for sure, we do expect to get a clearer glimpse of God's love for His children.
We are doing all of the last details. We still have to get all of our electronics, extra batteries and toiletries together. Rachel and her friend Claire put together the 12 gifts we are taking to give. We finally decided on AL t-shirts for the men and some bath and body goods for the women, plus lots of American chocolate.
This evening the girls and I are meeting Tracy, Claire's mom, for a girl's day. We are painting pottery, having dinner, then the girls and I are going to the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games. Those tickets were bought before we got travel dates! I thought It was a questionable idea then but i didn't want them driving alone at 2-3am. Now the plan is totally irrational! I'll probably really regret having pulled an all-nighter come Monday morning in China.
Live each day up!!!!!!!!
